Our client is a leading Telco.
Your role will involve the development & specification of technical concepts, architectures & recommendations concerning client implementations of radio & network protocols. Cross functional project management in an international organisation, including interaction with experts & managers in the marketing organisation as well as with suppliers Managing 3rd party suppliers.
Main resposibilities:
1. Look for new RF technologies in cooperation with terminal suppliers, chipset suppliers or directly on the start-up market
2. Design develop & manage proof of concepts in RF for mobile terminals
3. Contribute to TMO new terminal RF requirements specifications
4. Drive improvements with suppliers in RF performance that meet TMO specific challenges
5. Develop a suitable TMO roadmap of key areas of focus within RF developments
ESSENTIALS:
1. MSc/ PhD in a Telecommunication subject or Electronic engineering
2. 5 yrs Experience in design, specification or implementation of Layers 1,2,3 of the communications stack
3. No Less than 7 yrs overall experience
4. Experience of 3G, WLAN, GSM
5. Presentation Skills
Desirable
1. UWB, Mobile IP, Seemless Handover, SFR, DVB, DAB.
2. Experience of prototyping
3. Experience of patent applicat
