Our Client is a leading Telecommunications company.
You will plan, expedite and evaluate incoming supply of Personal Communications Equipment (PCE) and Accessories. Execute, communicate and process purchase order commitments with vendors ensuring production plans and delivery times meet business demands Supervise a team of 3 planners
You will be required to:
1.Operate at all times according to the administrative, organisational and professional/ethical standards and policies expected within SVM.
2. To action purchase requisitions for PCE and other products under direction from the procurement team, translating them into delivery schedules on purchase orders in SAP.
3. Communicate the business' purchasing requirements for products to various suppliers taking care to ensure clear mutual understanding, receipt and acknowledgement.
4. Plan and expedite deliveries of purchased product from suppliers ensuring timely delivery and acceptable quality.
5. Resolve issues with suppliers concerning SVM/Supply Chain issues and assist the procurement
You will have the following experience.
1. BTEC Business or similar qualification
2. SAP/MRP or other inventory management systems training and experience
3. 3 yrs Purchasing or related experience in fmcg or similar environment
4. CIPS graduate/trainee
5. Excellent Excel, word and powerpoint
