Working within a community drug setting as a drugs worker you will key work clients, assess new referrals, provide harm minimisation (including needle exchange and designing and developing care plans). Working within a multi disciplinary team you will also work with the GP to prescribe relevant medication for opiate users. Caseload of 30. Interesting work and opportunity for long term contract. Skills	Minimum of 3 months previous experience working within substance misusers essential. Experience or knowledge of prescribing issues for opiate users is important. Nursing Qualification (RGN, RMN) or other professional qualification (DipSW, MA Social Work, Degree Psychology etc) a benefit but not essential.
