Working in a dynamic and busy events team, one of the primary responsibilities of the role will be to co-ordinate The Forrester’s Big Toddle for Barnardo’s, one of the largest events for under 5’s in the UK. In 2005, we plan to raise £1,000,000 through this event. An integral part of the co-ordinator role will be to develop and expand this exciting project. Additionally, the co-ordinator will get the opportunity to get involved with other new fundraising events as and when they arise. If you have a track record of working on national events, can communicate with people at all levels and you have the determination to contribute to the success of our events, then this job is for you.
JOB PURPOSE
 To project manage fund-raising events to maximise fund-raising income to achieve targets set.
 To establish and maintain appropriate systems for these events to ensure efficiency of the events (ie publicity, invitations, mailings, database etc.)
 To contribute to the development of the overall targets of the UK Events Team to ensure that business objectives are met.
