An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the Leading Hotels of the World for an Events Manager. Our luxurious and stunning Five Star hotel, Set in 300 acres with 227 bedrooms, 3 restaurants, championship golf course, cutting-edge technology, world-class banqueting and luxurious and extensive spa facilities - quite simply renowned as one of Europe's elite venues.
The right candidate will be required to sell the facilities of the Hotel in a professional manner acting as an ambassador for the hotel. To Efficiently co-ordinate customer events through excellent skills whilst, ensuring maximum occupancy and maximum profitability from all events that take place. Responsibilities include: Undertaking events in all market segments; ensure seamless transition : from customer perspective : from contract through co-ordination and actually of the event, at every stage of organization/ co-ordination ensure that customer requirements are translated in an effective and timely manner to the relevant departments ensuring that within the ?umbrella? of events operations the needs of both internal and external customers are met.
Candidates must have a proven track record in a similar role in a 4* or 5* hotel. Essential personal attributes are the ability to display excellent personal skills and exhibit good customer relations, coupled to a passion for an elite product. Verbal/written communication to a good educational level, well groomed, good organization and administration skills, good PC skills including Microsoft applications, ability to cope under pressure from internal/external customers.
