Set in 200 Acres of beautiful parkland our glorious venue can cater to any needs from small seminars through to large weddings - no matter what the requirement this stunning mansion has it all
The right candidate will be required to sell the conference and events facilities of the venue in a professional manner acting as an ambassador for the hotel. Managing 4 Event Co-ordinators you must demonstrate yourself to be a formidable leader both in terms of Event Management and Team development. Taking full responsibility for the Events Department you will ensure efficient co-ordination of customer conferences and events through excellent communication skills whilst, ensuring maximum occupancy and maximum profitability from all events that take place. As the departmental manager you will be required to oversee the forecasting, ensure efficient management of the venue's diary along with its yield, attend all weekly HOD meetings and manage a small portfolio of key client accounts.
Candidates must have a proven track record in a similar Conference & Events based role. Essential personal attributes are the ability to display excellent personal skills and exhibit good customer relations, coupled with excellent man management skills. Verbal/written communication to a good educational level, well groomed, good organization and administration skills, good PC skills including Microsoft applications, ability to cope under pressure from internal/external customers.
