A 4 star hotel seeks a Conference & Events Manager in Northamptonshire for a contemporary location. The hotel enjoys over 100 bedrooms, 2 restaurants and 6 meeting rooms which can cater up to 250 delegates.
You will be reporting to the Revenue Manager and will be responsible for managing day-to-day organisation and running of the Conference & Banqueting Sales department. Your role will involve pro-active selling techniques to cross sell all of the hotels facilities, improving and maintaining customer service standards. You will also be responsible for the supervision and training of C&B Sales Coordinators, understanding and providing efficient service during events and rate negotiations.
The right candidate will have excellent attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal and managerial skills. A minimum of 18 months relevant experience is required with a customer focused attitude.
