A historical 4 star hotel seeks a Conference & Banqueting Manager in Northamptonshire for a country based picturesque and stylish hotel. Enjoying a quiet, tranquil and relaxing atmosphere in the heart of elegant grounds, the hotel possesses over 100 bedrooms with 18 conference rooms, which can cater for a maximum of 300 delegates.
You will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be responsible to overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day organisation and running of the conference and banqueting department. You will be responsible for up to 10 casual staff and an Assistant C&B Manager, maintaining and improving operational standards and setting up function rooms to cater to the clientele requirements.
The right candidate will have excellent attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills. A minimum of 18 months relevant experience is required with a customer focused attitude.
