An exciting role has just arisen at the UKs leading Residential Conference and Training Venues. Our conference and Events Centre is made up of three venues co-located on one parkland site. Set on 30 Acres of glorious Buckinghamshire countryside our facilities combine traditional character with bright, professional, purpose-designed training rooms as well as a purpose-built conference room with state of the art audio and visual equipment capable of accommodating up to 220 delegates.
The successful candidates main responsibilities will include ordering all bar stocks and controlling rotation and distribution, maintaining effective cellar management and maintaining hygiene standards throughout. You will also be responsible for the recruitment, training and development of all staff in the department up to supervisory level, and the management all departmental operating costs.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar operation. It is essential that you have extensive experience of handling financial responsibility and budgets. The nature of the post also demands that your interpersonal and communication skills are second to none if you are to effectively build a committed and motivated team. In addition your presentation must be impeccable at all times, as will be your ability to ensure the same standard within your team.
