A forward thinking and successful hotel group with a diverse portfolio of venues seeks an Area Sales Manager for the south of England. You will be reporting into the Director of Sales and will responsible for proactively selling and developing existing business for the group in the south and southwest of England.
This position will be based in a 4* hotel in Oxfordshire 1 day a week with 4 days on the road. Your responsibilities will include proactive sales through cold calling and telesales, local and regional market research to introduce new clients with follow up business development and account management. You will be required to organise and participate in FAM trips, negotiate rates and cross-sell all venues to maximise agency, conference and corporate sales.
You must have at least three years experience within a proven sales position and must have a very proactive and dedicated outlook to generating new business while maximising existing opportunities.
