Our client is a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of intelligent High Power Light Emitting Diode (LED) arrays and smart light engines. The Company's product lines offer unique, cost effective and reliable solutions to clients' most challenging problems. The light engines, devices and systems are used for entertainment lighting, architectural lighting, projection and LCD, sensing and curing, medical and dental applications. An impressive corporate client list includes aerospace, medical/health care sectors, lighting and manufacturing industries worldwide. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help fulfil the ongoing expansion plans.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Business Development Manager will:-
• Develop account strategies around targeted companies/partners
• Maximize sales to end-user companies and manage Dealer Channels
• Develop a distribution channel base worldwide
• Take qualified leads and convert to projects, licenses and consultancy
You will enjoy taking a "hands on" approach to new business development, whilst managing and developing key partner relationships. The ideal business development manager will be a self starter with excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and organizational skills. A recent proven track record of selling sophisticated lighting/photonic/ electronic components/solutions at Board Level is ideal. The ability to manage a sales pipeline and business relationships, to achieve agreed targets, is essential.
