KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - for leading Events Company
Based Hemel Hempstead
Our client is at the innovative forefront of the Live Communications sector, producing conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and all forms of electronic communications for a variety of Blue Chip and Public Sector clients. They work throughout the UK and Europe on events for up to 5,000 people.We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to act as a Customer Champion, the main communications point between our Events and Sales Teams and our most key accounts. At this stage we envisage that you will have responsibility for no more than 6 key accounts.
These customers require our support throughout the year on a large number of events and / or multi-media projects, often with multiple client contact points. Working in tandem with our Head of Sales and our Production Director, you will ensure that client expectations are understood and met on every project.
This customer-focussed role will entail regular client contact including one-to-one meetings to
• Fully understand / appreciate the client’s business, ethics and corporate persona to ensure these are reflected in the communications services we provide
• Provide the focal point between the client and EventsStuff personnel on each project in-progress
• Identify and discuss new requirements / projects with client and our sales / events teams
• Work with appropriate personnel to identify resources required and the personalities that would suit, advise client and introduce project team
• Provide on-going communications back-up to client and PM / Tech manager, championing client’s cause and ensuring that all expectations are met
• Act as deliverer / instigator of new processes and procedures whether client driven or identified by us
• Identify key client players and maintain communications accordingly
We are live communications experts, and our clients demand no less than the best day-to-day communications from us. It is essential that you have significant client-facing experience in a B2B Customer Service or Account Management role, preferably in the service sector; an understanding of live communications would be an advantage, though not essential. You must be confident and expert in communicating at all client levels and with internal departments to ensure that the absolute best is delivered to our key clients, every time. A gregarious team-worker, you have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines under pressure.
