A major manufacturer of vehicle transmission systems has immediate requirement for a SENIOR AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN ENGINEER with several years’ hands-on experience of implementing and delivering successful project solutions/designs from an automotive transmissions environment.
As a Senior Design Engineer you will be responsible for the following;
1: Project planning, implementation and monitoring
2: Detailed mechanical design and integration of transmission systems
3: Managing prototype build programs
4: Responsible for endurance/performance testing and evaluation
5: Customer acceptance/validation and approval
6: Familiar with FMEA
7: Fully proficient with Pro-E CAD software
8: Understanding of simulation, test, control software
Your natural ability as a project manager coupled with your ability to apply good engineer practise will enable you to apply cost effective/innovate engineering transmission solutions to a variety of technical mechanical engineering issues.
To be considered for this highly challenging and exciting position, you must be qualified to Degree level within a related mechanical engineering discipline, possessing excellent verbal, written and first class presentational skills.
