A vacancy exists within the business for a Communications Co-ordinator. Working for the Communications Manager, the successful candidate will focus on using a range of communications tactics to engage stakeholders and build understanding about our business.
Specifically, the job holder will be responsible for writing printed and electronic materials, organising employee engagement activities and co-ordinating feedback mechanisms. The job holder will also be required to plan, research and write some articles for our in-house magazine and be responsible daily intranet materials. Measurement and striving for continuous improvement will be an important feature of the job.
The successful candidate will also have opportunities to gain experience of other elements in the communications mix, possibly by working on discrete communications projects in the business. The job holder will be expected to embrace all development and external training opportunities on offer.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have at least 1-2 years communications experience. Excellent writing skills are required in addition to creative thinking, a willingness to travel and the ability to liaise confidently with people at all levels.
