Planning Responsibilities:
To play a support role in the preparation of operational planning team in the Structures CoC. This will include not only understanding the volume, but also the nature, of the workload the centre is expected to discharge in the next five years. The main responsibilities will include:
1. Liaising with Engineering team leaders with a view to understanding and obtaining their resource requirements for the medium term.
2. Providing support to the Operational Planning Manager with respect to co-ordinating and consolidating the estimates generated by the above mentioned.
3. Using the output of the resource plan to feed into a financial plan from which the budget will be derived and against which the centre will be monitored.
4. Interface with other team members to ensure that the Structures CoC Operational Plan is in line with the Airbus Operational plan.
5. Assist the Operational Planning Manager on other planning and control activities.
Reporting Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a pro-active and inquiring mind and have a results driven approach. They will possess good interpersonal skills that allow them to work with a wide range of people and a flexible and adaptable approach to the needs of the business. A technical prerequisite for this position is good Microsoft Excel skills allied with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
