A vacancy exists within the business for a Communications Advisor based in Luton. Working for the Communications Manager, the successful candidate will focus on using a range of communications tactics to deliver professional communications in line with the needs of the business.
Specifically, the jobholder will be responsible for writing articles, notices, intranet/internet material and organising briefings and events. The jobholder will also be required to plan, research and write some articles for Vision magazine and be responsible for managing IT communications across the business.
The successful candidate will also have opportunities to gain experience of other elements in the communications mix, including marketing communications and media relations, possibly by working on discrete communications projects in the business. The jobholder will be expected to embrace all development and external training opportunities on offer.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have at least 2 years communications experience. Excellent writing skills are required in addition to creative thinking, a willingness to travel and the ability to liaise confidently with people at all levels.
Ideal candidates for this role will be degree educated in Communications with the ability to develop and execute communications plans, writing and editing skills, PC literacy to include MS Office and FrontPage and excellent interpersonal skills. It is highly desirable that candidates applying for this role speak Italian.
