Software Engineer
Reading, Berks
A software engineer is required to provide expertise on a range of air – ground data integration solutions and service products for the civil airline marketplace.
The principal technology focus is on Object-Oriented techniques, based on Microsoft Visual C , C#, STL, COM, .Net and Windows 2000 using Oracle databases.
Working closely with the Product and Marketing teams to define customer requirements and design and implement solutions.
Candidates should have a sound understanding of the complete software lifecycle and capable of taking a role in the specification, design, and development of software solutions based on the .Net framework. Significant experience in the development of multi-threaded C applications on Windows platforms is also required.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified with 3 years experience in a Software Development role with demonstrable expertise in C , STL, C#, COM (ATL) – expertise in Oracle is desirable as is sound experience of working within rigorous quality standards such as ISO9001, CMM etc. Knowledge of Java would be an advantage.
Salary £31K-£39K
