Managing all aspects of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement within the Military Communications Systems Division (MCS).
<strong>Management and leadership of the following MCS teams:</strong>
* Quality Assurance
* Safety
* Product Liability
* Configuration and Data Management.
* Development and implemetation of the MCS Quality Manager System.
<strong>Essential:</strong>
* Evidence of using Quality to improve delivery and effective teamwork.
* Matrix and direct management experiece at a similar level.
* Team leadership skills.
<strong>Desirable:</strong>
* Degree or equivalent.
* Evidence of working with project teams to improve performance.
<strong>Previous Experience:</strong>
<strong> Essential:</strong>
Experience in a similar role in a Defence Systems Integration business (hardware and software) of developing and improving the Quality Management System, and achieving project goals. If the candidate has not worked in a defence enviroment, similar experience in a Space, Aerospace or IT Systems Integration enviroment would be considered. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement as a Head of or Deputy of function in a comparable business. We are not looking for someone froma predominantly manufacturing or services background.
<strong>Desirable:</strong>
Experience of logistics support and manufacturing businesses.
