Our Client, a leading fashion and homes mail order company requires an experienced Senior PRO to work on exciting, new fashion launch, plus other well-known brands and launches.
The candidate must have a ‘passion for fashion' outside of work and desire a successful career in the industry they love!
Experience
- Ideally four years experience to AM / Senior PRO level
- Must have worked on trend-led highstreet or mail order retail brands although designer brand experience is useful
- Excellent fashion media contacts, other ‘women's' or homes media, a bonus
- Must have ‘celebrity endorsement' experience, including contract negotiation, planning and implementation of celebrity-led fashion (and other) PR campaigns
- Events management / press launch experience, including professional fashion shows
- Should have experience in organising national media photo-calls, involving celebrities and paparazzi
- Broad consumer / brand / FMCG PR (other than fashion/homes) experience an advantage
- Sponsorship management also useful
Skills Required
- Good organisation, time management, prioritise effectively
- Developed written ability (creative and business) to produce: editorial, promotional copy, brand proposals, evaluation reports, trade press releases etc.
- Creative, lateral thinker – must be able to think outside the box, generate ideas, provide solutions and think on feet
- Creative – should have understanding of how to create good photography and an interest in /eye for styling
- 'Can do' attitude – enthusiasm, dedication and self-motivation
- Team work - drive projects, delegate effectively and motivate others
- Adaptable to change - able to manage several different and varied projects at once
- Opportunist - able to spot opportunities and draw on contacts / knowledge where required i.e. 'pull it out of the bag'
