Reporting to the UK Finance Manager in this dynamic international market leader, this interesting role will provide analytical support to the Aftersales and Supply Chain areas of the business
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis of the Aftersales business stream P&L, covering sales channel performance and cost of sales variance analysis
- Analysis of the supply chain performance
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Budgets and Latest Estimates
- Represent finance in any aftersales / accessory price discussions, challenging new product pricing where appropriate
- Control and monitor various cost centres to include responsibility for month end reporting in these areas
- Maintaining cross charges process in respect of joint ventures
- Ad hoc analysis as determined by Finance and dept heads
- Identify areas for process improvement
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Educated to Degree level with at least a pass at A level Maths
- Newly qualified / studying for a recognised accountancy qualification (ideally CIMA)
- Experience of aftersales and distribution a key advantage
- Strong analytical ability
- Commercial awareness and ability to see the bigger picture
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively to both Finance and non-Finance staff of varying management levels
