Progress v9 Developer, GUI and Character. Very successful IT software company is opening their new branch in the North.
You will join a small team developing inventory management, stock control and distribution type systems for an exciting and expanding client base. In this role you will be in complete control of the project from requirements gathering to development to installation and support. There will also be some on-site development.
This is a position of responsibility and as such they are looking for a quite special type of person. You will need a minimum 3 years experience of Progress 4GL, including Character and GUI on both Unix and Windows operating systems. Some customer facing skills will also be required and Webspeed would be advantageous. If you have previously been involved in the full software cycle, then this too will be of interest.
