Redline Group are currently looking to recruit an Accountant for our client who is one of the world leaders in the provision of solutions and resources for subsea/ marine engineering. The role will be responsible for the financial accounting for West Africa legal entities and the management reporting for West Africa region.
This position reports to the West Africa Finance Manger and duties include the preparation of monthly reporting packages, balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of monthly management accounts and overhead and OOC forecasting. The role will also be responsible for the coordination and submission of corporate tax filings and payments, with assistance from Global Tax Department and external advisers; this will include other taxes such as training tax, stamp tax etc in various countries and any other hoc assistance as required for West Africa Finance Manager
The winning candidate for this vacancy will be educated to HNC/HND in Accounting as a minimum, however candidates with a solid financial or project accounting background will also be considered without the educational background. You must be proficient with Microsoft excel and a knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
