Our client, a internationally renowned company with over £1billion t/o, require a Business Performance Accountant to join their team. With an emphasis on the candidates communication ability - you will be required to present information to senior management - they are looking for an experienced and forward thinking individual with either a CIMA or ACCA qualification.
This role will be to drive business performance through a management information strategy and specifically to tangibly assist operational managers improving commercial awareness and business performance by working with them within the network. This role exists to provide a link between traditional management accounting and active performance management. It will involve significant contact with non finance departments (sales teams) and senior members of the organisation.
You will be required to:
- Formulate forecasting and budgeting strategies and targets.
- Model financial implications of changes in their portfolio.
- Develop and implement changes in commission structures
- Coach and develop operational staff to improve commercial awareness.
- Decision making.
- Translate financial information
- Provide operational management with financial advise and analysis of operation profitability.
You must me a strong team player, be an excellent communicator with strong influencing skills, be able to produce and develop direct reports, be highly IT literate and not shark away from decision making.
