Accounts Assistant is required to work at the Luton offices of global manufacture and supplier to the telecoms sector, with a turn over exceeding £3 Billion and who operate from almost 20 countries.
Purpose
To maintain two companies general ledgers including entering journals and reconciling key accounts through to producing the company's Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
To administer the companies purchase ledgers including matching, batching and coding of invoices, completion of twice-monthly payments runs and dealing with supplier statement queries.
Candidates will be required to have
Purchase & general ledger experience.
Good general level of accounts experience.
Used to computerised accounting systems and computer literate generally.
Specific knowledge of sales ledger, general ledger, cash book.
Experience of Word & Excel
Accounting qualifications
Be Conscientious and methodical
Be a car owner with driving license
