Our Client, established in 1999 has quickly established itself as one of the main property companies in the North of England. With a diverse mix of services ranging from property conversion and renovation, new build projects and urban regeneration to comprehensive property management and lettings service for both professional and student markets.
Their growth and success has led to a requirement for an Accounts Assistant based in Leeds.
You role will involve:-
- Chasing outstanding rents by letter, phone etc. Able to instigate court action if and when necessary.
- Raising sales invoices, posting cash received . Interco invoicing
- Inputting suppliers invoices, matching to order and delivery notes
- Purchase orders to raise and send
- Reconciliation of suppliers statements due for payment
- A basic understanding of nominal ledger
- Ability to code invoices and understand the coding system
- Paying in books to write up and input
- Standing orders to pick up from bank statements
- Cash received to input
- Card Payments to input
You will need to be a friendly out going person who must have a sense of humour who is able to work with minimal supervision and be able to communicate with other members of staff.
You will also need Sage Line 50/Excel/ Word/Outlook experience and be able to understand a multi-company system although supervision will be given. They are also using RentAccom software, training would be given on this
