Our client focuses on providing computerised core business solutions to three defined sectors: local government, occupational pensions and social housing. They utilise their own Workflow and Electronic Document Management software and combine this with specialist sector expertise to provide state of the art computerised solutions. They now have a vacancy for an experienced Debt Administrator in the credit control section of the Accounts Departments in their Dudley office. The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard having gained passes in Maths and English. You will also be proficient at using Microsoft spread sheets and word processing packages and have had a least two years’ experience in a credit control role. Ideally you will be MICM and/or AAT qualified or currently studying for certification. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with figures and who has good organisational skills. If you have worked in a busy Accounts Department then you will appreciate the month end cycle and be used to working to the deadlines set around that time. You will be dealing with our customer base and therefore you need to possess excellent communication skills both written and oral. You will be a good team player. Previous use of Sun accounts would be an advantage. There will also be ad hoc duties such as covering for other staff in the department when they are away through to answering the overflow of calls from the switchboard, from time to time. Salary up to £20,000 pa depending on experience + non-contributory pension + medical expenses scheme + permanent health insurance + life insurance 4 x salary.
