Further information can be obtained by logging on to our website at www.brokernetwork.co.uk Currently recruiting for a COMPLIANCE & TRAINING CONSULTANT (Midlands) - HOME BASED As a consultant for a panel of brokers within your region, you will be responsible for delivering compliance solutions through professional consultancy visits, compliance based training workshops and one to one training. A general insurance background is essential and you will preferably be ACII qualified. A working experience of GISC and an understanding of FSA rules will be a significant advantage as well as experience of training and consultancy work. Job description * Develop valuable and ongoing working relations with allocated members through effective communication, efficient working methods and dedicated support. * Responsible for ensuring allocated members receive full support in order to achieve compliance status with regard to GISC/FSA. * Plan compliance and training visits in a timely and cost effective way. * Review the progress of members, in implementing effective compliance procedures, on a regular basis and update internal records accordingly. * Conduct compliance visits to fee-paying brokers in accordance with the available services offered. * Assist in writing compliance based and compliance related training workshops as required. * Deliver training workshops in a professional and motivational manner. * Regularly report to the Compliance & Training Manager on relevant activities and progress. * Ensure regular contact with other departments, specifically the BDM’s, to avoid duplication and to ensure maximum support and benefit to the member. * Ensure knowledge on all compliance related matters is achieved and continually maintained in order to conduct competent and competitive services to members. * Achieve performance standards and objectives in line with agreed requirements.
