Implementation Consultant - Accounting Software
East Sussex, Hove
£30,000 - £40,000 Plus Car, Bonus + Stakeholder pension
Our client is looking for a client focused individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join them in the role of Application implementation consultant. They are looking for a person with an accountancy background and knowledge of Finance Software Packages.
The role:
Their consultants visit clients on-site to ensure that their bespoke software is implemented correctly to precisely meet the needs of their business.
This rewarding role is divided into four parts:
1. 25% to do with analysis of customer needs, often dealing with clients at board level
2. 25% configuration of the software to meet client needs
3. 25% training clients how to use the software
4. 25% problem solving and troubleshooting implementations
You will need a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) or above in a Numerate or Scientific subject.
You must also be self-reliant, enthusiastic and organised and it is essential that you are flexible and prepared to travel and work away from home extensively.
It is important that you have actually implemented bespoke software applications before and that you are able to provide evidence of bringing business benefit to clients.
The ideal skills for the position of Implementation Consultant:
- Experience of delivering software implementation consultancy for bespoke software applications
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of dealing with clients at board level
- Evidence of strong business analysis and problem solving skills
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills
- Knowledge of professional services organisations (eg. Architecture, Management consultancy) would be of benefit
Working hours are 9 – 5.30 Monday to Friday.
