Our client is one of the largest integrated property services businesses in the United Kingdom. Their 2000 employees are based in 275 offices across the UK, offering an extensive range of services through our diverse group of subsidiary companies, which include many well known high street names: Mortgages Direct, Wolton Chartered Surveyors, haart, Spicer McColl, Darlows, Felicity J. Lord and our call centre ‘BUZZ'. They employ over 2,000 employees based within 300 offices across the UK. They are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant.
The Role
The purpose of the Payroll Assistant is to support the payroll manager and supervisor and deal with day-to-day duties. The responsibilities of the role include: Management of the company car benefits for the Inland Revenue, assisting with the input and checking of all variable data onto the payroll system and to assist with general administration duties within the department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to join a dynamic company within a payroll support position.
The Person
Applicants will ideally have some previous payroll experience in dealing with P45 / P60's.
1. Previous administration experience preferred
2. The ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment is important
3. Excellent organisation / prioritisation skills
4. Good communication skills both face to face and over the phone
All levels of experience will be considered.
Basic Salary is in the range of £13,000 to £15,000, dependant on experience.
Hours of work are full time (37.5 hours), Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm, part time hours would be considered on a pro rata salary.
