Tooling Maintenance Engineer
Derbyshire, Chesterfield
£ 20,000 (IRO)
Our client offers a full range of pipeline products for the gas, water and electricity markets. They are looking to recruit a Tooling Maintenance Engineer.
The role:
The Tooling Maintenance Engineer will fulfil the following responsibilities: mechanical faultfinding, carrying out tooling repairs and tooling configuration.
Candidates must be able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks, whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
A good working knowledge of tooling reconfiguration, repair and modification and basic machining skills is essential, as is the ability to complete paperwork in an accurate and legible manner.
Their ideal candidate will have served an apprenticeship in a mechanical engineering-related subject, but equal importance will be placed on a traceable working history in a similar role. Ideally, you will have a current overhead crane and / or counterbalance FLT licence although training could be made available to the right candidate
Normal hours of work are 7.30am – 16.00pm Monday to Friday, with 30 minutes' unpaid lunch break daily (40 hours per week). Overtime may be required to fulfil the requirements of this role.
