We are seeking an accountant to join a friendly two-partner practice in Chertsey. You must be AAT-qualified or equivalent, and have gained considerable professional practice experience over at least the last two years. You will primarily be responsible for preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships & small limited companies, so you must be fully conversant with accounting computer software packages (preferably IRIS and Sage) as well as Excel & Word. We can offer you some audit and taxation work as well as other ad-hoc tasks in this varied role, which will offer you an ideal opportunity to develop your practical accounting skills in a hands-on environment. We will also provide access to ongoing professional training courses for the successful applicant. We are offering a minimum salary of £25,000 per annum, but are willing to negotiate this figure, depending upon your experience and abilities.
