This leading high profile client based in Kingswood - Surrey requires a Systems Engineer to provide desktop and network support. You will need at least 3 years experience in a 2nd/3rd line desktop support and server environment. You will be responsible for dealing with a wide range of technical issues, involving installation, implementation, upgrades and migration of various networking operating systems. You should have experience of Windows Server 2000/2003, Active Directory, NT Domains, MS Clustering solutions, IBM Director, IBM x-Series server hardware, IBM Blade technology. It would also be beneficial to have experience of Novel Netware 5.1/NDS, Remote Deployment Manager, MS Exchange, Tivoli (Systems Manager). This role will initially be for 3 months but will be extended - you should be flexible with regard to the hours which you will be expected to work.
