Customer Service Clerk / Freight Forwarder
Norfolk, Norwich
£18,000 - £20,000 + City office location + Job development opportunities for enthusiastic and capable individuals
Our Client is a growing International Freight Forwarder whose main activity is currently focussed on providing Ocean freight services to clients operating in Asia, China in particular. They are looking to recruit a Customer Service Clerk.
The role:
Continued planned expansion of the Company's activities has led to opportunities for individuals who are looking for a varied role and wishing to make an impact in the organisation.
Duties include:
- Dealing with queries and enquiries on the phone
- Administration duties
- Checking delivery dates
- Chasing orders
- Entering information onto computer system
- Bookings with Shipping Lines
- Issue of B/L instructions
- NES Customs entries
The ideal Customer Service Clerk / Freight Forwarder will have relevant import/export operations experience and will be able to handle all aspects of business from their key customers. An Ocean freight background would be a great advantage in this role.
The salary for his role will be circa £18,000 - £20,000 dependent on experience, with benefits including City office location and Job development opportunities for enthusiastic and capable individuals.
