With a national network of operational and distribution centres, more than 7000 employees and a turnover exceeding £250m, our client is a leader in workwear rental, linen hire, washroom products and healthcare services. They currently seek to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller (Sytems) to join the team.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this new position arises from the company's investment of millions of pounds to implement Microsoft Axapta ERP. You will harness your considerable technical accounting and systems skills to deliver significant gains in efficiency and control in:
* Group reporting under UKGAAP and IFRS
* Balance Sheet forecasting, analysis and control
* Accounting for capital projects
* Management Accounting and Business Analysis
Organised, engaging and enthusiastic, you will have a good degree, 2 years+ post-accountancy qualification experience and be able to demonstrate:
* A working understanding of UKGAAP and IFRS
* Proficiency in the use of business reporting tools (Microsoft and Cognos or equivalent)
* Strong analytical and reporting skills
* Preferably, use of Consolidation Software and Web-based reporting systems
