Our client, a subsidiary of F.W.Thorpe plc, manufactures lighting systems for the shopfitting industry and currently emplos around 50 people. They currently have an opening for a part time Credit Controller to assist a very busy Accounts Team in this fast growing manufacturing company in Portsmouth.
You will be a hard-working, self-motivated team player with excellent telephone and basic keyboard skills. You will have at least three years' relevant experience in Credit Control, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the role will include cash collection, control of major debtors, cash reconciliation and sales daily routines. You will also have effective communication skills, the ability to work on your own initiative. You'll also be a good team member with a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
