Our client is a young, rapidly expanding company, manufacturing products in Asia, and distributing them throughout the UK and mainland Europe. Their growth has created an opening for an Accountant to control the day-to-day financial functions within the company.
This position would be ideally suited to a part qualified accounts professional with two years' commercial experience, who is looking to grow with the role. As the post holds great opportunities for future progression into senior management, applicants must have a real desire to succeed.
With good organisational skills and an enthusiastic and efficient approach you will need to use your initiative to help influence the future success of the company. Initial duties will include maintenance of sales, purchase & nominal Ledgers; bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting; payroll & PAYE; VAT Returns & Intrastat; month end procedures and preparation of accounts to trial balance.
