Sartorius is an internationally leading laboratory and process technology supplier. We offer our customers from the pharmaceutical/biotech, chemical, food and beverage industries and from the public sector a wide spectrum of products and system solutions. We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Sales Consultant for our Northern territory (ideal location would be M1 Corridor between Nottingham and Leeds) The successful candidate will be required to reach or exceed the agreed sales targets of the core divisional products by appointment based demonstration and presentation. Cold calling will be expected where appropriate. Core products include: Balances, centrifuges, laboratory filtration equipment and consumables, protein purification consumables, Arium water purification system, Shakers/Shaker incubators, Microbiology equipment and consumables. The ideal candidate will have: - At least one year in a laboratory or laboratory sales based role. - Knowledge of the Laboratory Life Science industry - Laboratory equipment and consumables product experience. - Life Science degree (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology etc.). PhD would be an advantage but not essential. You should be determined, self-motivated, enthusiastic, rewards driven, articulate and well presented.
