Our client is a leading provider of Digital Office Solutions encompassing office equipment, cabling, network services, supplies and consumables. They have been supplying and maintaining office systems equipment to the SME market for over seventeen years. They currently seek a Sales Account Manager to work within their Supplies and Consumables division.
The primary objective of the Sales Account Manager is to identify and secure supplies business from the company's existing account base. In addition there is a requirement to secure new business through mail shots, telephone activity, networking and “one to many” relationships. Commission will also be earned for the introduction of clients to other divisions of the company. An Internal Sales Support team supports this role, for which the key accountabilities are as follows:
* Develop sales forecasts in conjunction with the Supplies Manager
* Meet agreed sales thresholds and targets
* Maintain and maximise existing clients “spend” with the company
* Obtain new customers through telephone and other marketing activities
* Manage and develop existing client relationships
* Produce accurate and detailed reports as required
The successful candidate will hold the following key skills and attributes:
* Experienced B2B Sales Executive with sound inter-personal skills
* Strong track record in achieving sales targets and maintaining long term business relationships
* Preferably experience within the stationery market (though not essential)
* Understanding of SME and corporate organisations
* Self starter with good business acumen and the drive to obtain new business
* Good telephone and communication skills
* High personal presentation levels
* Ability to work as part of a team, whilst maintaining their individuality
* Current and clean driving licence
