Our client started supplying and maintaining office systems equipment to the SME market over seventeen years ago. In addition to the highly successful core business, our client has four further divisions within the group:

* Information and Management Systems
* Cabling Services
* Supplies
* Workplace Services Division

The Role

Reporting to the Supplies Manager, this role will primarily focus on the sales of stationery, supplies, consumables and SOHO equipment (faxes, desktop copiers and printers) to businesses in East Sussex and designated areas of Kent.

The primary objective is to identify and secure supplies business from Our clients' existing account base. In addition there is a requirement to secure new business through mail shots, telephone activity, networking and “one to many” relationships.

Commission will also be earned for the introduction of clients to other divisions. An internal Sales Support team supports this role.

Key Accountability

* Develop sales forecasts in conjunction with the Supplies Manager
* Meet agreed sales thresholds and targets
* Maintain and maximise existing clients “spend” with our client
* Obtain new customers through telephone and other outbound marketing activity
* Manage and develop existing client relationships
* Produce accurate and detailed reports as required

Candidate Specification

* Experienced B2B Sales Executive with sound inter-personal skills
* Strong track record in achieving sales targets and maintaining long term business relationships preferably within the stationery or FMCG markets.
* Understanding of SME and corporate organisations
* Self starter with good business acumen and the drive to obtain new business through good telephone and communication skills
* High personal presentation levels
* Ability to works as part of a team, whilst maintaining their individuality
* Ideal location: within 45 minutes drive east or north of Horsham

Package:

* Salary in the region of £15,000 basic per annum depending on experience plus uncapped commission (first year OTE c. £24000 per annum)
* Car allowance or fully expensed company car
