Sales opportunities are derived from existing long-term accounts and by innovative marketing campaigns which deliver strong leads to be converted by a professional Engineer with superb technical solutions development & sales competences.
The Sales Engineer would work across the UK supported by a team of hands-on Engineers, Sector Managers and Strategic Accounts sales people. This is a senior role in our client's business; reporting to the Group Sales & Marketing Director. This is an extremely interesting and demanding position, which may involve a considerable amount of travelling and short periods of time spent away from home, occasionally including international travel.
The successful applicant will ideally have an HNC in an engineering related subject or else relevant industrial experience, will have good written and organisational abilities, hold a full driving license and will have a good knowledge of the operation and use of predictive maintenance techniques and/or modern lubrication methods.
The applicant must have a proven sales record, ideally in the UK Petrochemicals, Food and Beverage or other 24/7 Manufacturing sectors and should be confident dealing at all levels, from Maintenance Manager up to Board level.
The position would suit an ambitious and hardworking individual interested in career progression to a wider Sales & Marketing or Strategic Sales role in future years. There is also an excellent salary package on offer.
