Our Client is a rapidly expanding, successful manufacturing group. With national coverage, they are the largest trussed rafter manufacturer in the UK and they also service the construction industry in the manufacture of I beams, timber and MDF mouldings and high performance joinery products.
As part of their drive to meet our challenging budget for the forthcoming year and continue the growth potential for our manufacturing site in Marchington, Uttoxeter, they are looking to recruit a dynamic, results driven Head of Sales for the site. In this role, you will be responsible for heading up and bringing together the activities of the internal sales office (estimating, technical specification and order processing) and the external sales team, and you will use your skills to develop these teams to maximise their potential.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following characteristics/ experiences:
* Development of commercial strategies in a complex manufacturing environment
* Management of diverse teams to achieve agreed objectives within the strategic plan
* Development of a highly customer-focused attitude within all areas of an organisation
* Successful leadership of cultural change
* Good man- and team- management skills
* Good commercial acumen
Experience in a construction-based industry would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
