UK Media Sales Account Manager
Basic Salary to £40,000 (Commission £20k-£30k, Realistic OTE to £70,000)
London, City EC1
Our client is a global supplier of consumer, media and market research. They are currently looking to recruit a UK Media Sales Account Manager.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a very successful sales team looking after existing customers across the UK and identifying new business opportunities in the UK media sectors. Working within the media world you will be managing and building upon a prestigious portfolio of clients across all media (news, television, print, etc.) and should have a strong empathy for their operating environment.
The ideal candidate will possess first class sales/account management and customer acquisition skills. This will be combined with the ability to manage required sales activity across the UK in order to meet financial targets. You will be at ease whilst giving presentations or negotiating with a variety of staff from directors to marketing teams; supported by a strong sense of empathy and an intuitive understanding of clients' business objectives. Having the right attitude; based on enthusiasm, ambition, and a positive outlook, should all be characteristics you cherish and display.
Ideally, you will have completed a business-related degree and will have previous sales or marketing experience in the UK. You will require strong sales experience of consulting, marketing, or research services within the media or advertising industry. Fluency in English is a must for this role, whilst flexibility to travel throughout the week while being based at the London office is also essential, together with a full clean driving licence.
