Technical Sales Director
Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary commensurate with experience
Our client is a niche electronic component distributor dealing mainly within the security/PIR electronics market. They are seeking a Technical Sales Director to take control of company's sales function.
The role:
The successful candidate will be electronically knowledgeable and have commercial experience within a similar environment.
The role includes identifying and encouraging future business prospects and opportunities, marketing to potential new customers, expanding the range of products sold, taking orders accurately, giving advice and recommending products to fit applications. You will report directly to the CEO.
You must be a strong, self-directed, highly motivated, focused individual, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop, support, manage and direct a successful sales team. You will be expected to design and recommend sales and marketing programmes, setting short and long term goals.
The role is based in Surrey with regular travel around the UK.
