Telesales Executive / Internal Sales Executive
£22,000 pa (£15,000 base)

Our client is a growing and dynamic company providing small to medium size organisations with value for money and reliable technology solutions as well as best practice IT infrastructure advice.

The role:

The job function of Telemarketing / Internal Sales Executive carries a split role with fifty percent of the day spent on targeted telemarketing and the remaining fifty percent on internal sales. The telemarketing role involves generating sales appointments with new companies that have a defined need through cold calling. Internal sales will involve assisting in the management of the companies existing and new customer base. You will be required to identify close any potential new business opportunities.

Job Function and Responsibilities:

1. Make calls from leads provided in the access database of new companies
2. Explore the needs of the company and try to interest Decision Makers in the services
3. Qualify the interest generated and make appointments where appropriate
4. Log Telemarketing activity and the result of calls in the CRM database
5. Follow up on previous telephone marketing activity
6. Send out company information
7. Arrange appointments for the company sales resource
8. Provide company sales resource with appropriate background information for each appointment.
9. Identify contacts within the existing customer base.
10. Schedule opportunity calls.
11. Build a rapport with both new and existing contacts.

Person Specification:

1. Bright and enthusiastic person, able to work largely unsupervised
2. Good telephone manner with a salesperson's tenacity
3. Good IT literacy and ideally professional experience of IT environment
4. Fun, friendly disposition; someone who likes to be part of a team
