Our Client is one of Europe's leading online reservation providers to the hotel industry. The company has over 10,000 hotels, which it promotes across 2,000 websites, including many of the market leaders in online travel. We currently sell over 2 million hotel room nights per year.

The Consumer Team requires commercial and project management expertise to complement our development and marketing resources, in order to fully benefit from new booking revenue generating ideas and to explore adjacent revenue streams.

The role is ideal for an articulate, innovative and experienced sales or business development professional with lots of creative ideas for a growing business. They will have strong commitment to keeping a keen eye on on-line travel market trends with proven ability to identify exciting and profitable commercial/business opportunities in this competitive arena.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and manage projects to enhance our consumer offerings
• Manage relationships with 3rd party hotel providers
• Analyse 3rd party data and performance levels to provide Active Hotels with high value competitive intelligence, including coverage, rates and availability
• Identify “quality” link opportunities, working alongside the ‘Content and Links Executive' and in liaison with consumer team.
• Proactively contact potential leads, convert those leads and manage “quality” link project
• Build and manage relationships with car and flight providers, getting best possible rates
• Identify potential alternative providers
• Offer Active Hotels consumers a great post-booking experience through the offering of adjacent services such as restaurants, theatres, tours etc
• Maximise booking volumes

Key Skills:
• Excellent sales, business development, negotiation and communication skills
• Minimum 2-3 years proven sales/business development or commercial experience.
• Advanced French
• Understanding of sales and business development processes.
• Experience within a hi-tech and innovative web-based/internet environment.
