Our Client is an established company of 20 years that only works in the media duplication market, specialising in the supply and support of CD-R and DVD-R duplication and publishing systems.
They are looking for an articulate person to make outbound telemarketing calls to blue chip companies and small business customers. This role also requires that you visit prospective customers to discuss and demonstrate their range of equipment.
Main responsibilities will be:
- To generate qualified appointments for new business sales opportunities
- Visit prospective customers to discuss equipment requirements
- Travel to customers premises to demonstrate equipment
- To maintain and update the database of all prospects and sales activities
- To promote the our client's portfolio of services
- Generating web mailers and other marketing campaigns
- To maintain agreed level of telesales activity
- To provide and maintain accurate sales forecasts and other reports as required
- To maintain the integrity and reputation of the company
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years telesales/sales experience with a proven sales track record
- Ideally experienced in selling equipment and services in the IT industry
- Pro-active, motivated and self-starting with the determination to succeed
- Excellent telephone manner and good communication skills
- Team player who can forge strong relationships with colleagues and clients
- Good letter and email writing skills
- Good navigation skills are essential
- A sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs is very important
- Full UK driving licence
