The Business Development Executive is a direct outbound telemarketing executive working directly with the UK sales team to establish business opportunities for the accounts team to follow up and close. The marketing team in line with the UK sales objectives will provide the target customers on an ongoing sustainable basis.
Although this role is a primarily outbound cold calling role, the direct response team will also manage incoming leads and manage them up to project or meeting initiation.
The key objective will report into the UK Sales Director but will work closely with the International Marketing Manager on aligned campaigns. The person will be part of a team located in the UK but also part of the extended international DRT team (1 in Germany and 1 in Australia).
You will be required to utilise the RightNow SA tool to track account updates, notes contact, opportunities and other activities, and follow RightNow Technologies' policies and procedures. A qualified response report for all leads for your territory generated by RightNow and progressed is required as part of your quarterly objectives.
Knowledge Base:
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience in proactive lead generation/ internal sales role.
-Trained in SPIN, or Solution selling, ROI methodology and experience within the on demand market with either CRM, SFA, MA or CSS is desired.
- Background in technology (Software/Internet KB) preferred.
- Clear demonstrable team working capability and tenacious but positive attitude.
- Proven consistent track record of successful quota attainment.
