Our Client is the UKs leading provider of electronic fire and security solutions - supplying integrated security applications and electronic article surveillance, as well as fire detection, alarm systems and gaseous extinguishing solutions to a wide range of people and organisations.
Due to their success they have a requirement in their Thames Valley branch in Wokingham for sales consultants.
Your role will be to promote the company and the products and services at all times. To accurately record and process related documents and records. You should also exercise commercial judgement and market knowledge in line with the company's requirements to determine the level of gross margin and achieve sales targets and profit objectives as set by the company.
You should have the following sales skills
• Understand and practice excellent all round sales skills including open questioning, objection handling, etc.
• Generate business both new and from existing customers.
• To meet the targets set for orders by:
- Preparing and submitting detailed personalised quotations that reiterate prospects' requirements, show proposed equipment satisfies requirements, provides justification, specifies finance options, (if appropriate) and details service arrangements and warranties
- Providing presentations with a positive close to the negotiation.
- Answer to the satisfaction of the client any objections or questions raised.
• Any other duties in line with the role
Knowledge and Requirements:
• 12 months sales experience ideally within Fire & Security industry or industry related areas such as distribution and manufacturing.
• Excellent knowledge of CCTV and access control.
• Communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent Product knowledge
• Excellent attire to represent the company with senior management of our customers.
• Self Motivated
• Ability to meet deadlines.
