£13,500 – £15,000 + incentives and benefits
Are you a great salesperson looking for social working hours and uncapped incentive opportunities? If so this is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your sales career within a global company who are significantly expanding its operation in Glasgow City Centre. Their business is growing fast, therefore there's excellent potential for you to grow with them and move your sales career on to the next level in commercial insurance sales.
They can offer you social working hours, with hours of work being 35 hours per week between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday. There's also their competitive salary and their uncapped incentive potential - currently their top performers are earning over £1000 per month, and good performers are earning at least £700. There's also an additional performance bonus on top! So what are you waiting for?
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to grow the Direct Commercial account through incoming (and some outgoing - but warm!) sales enquiries from business partners and their customers.
The role:
* Deliver agreed sales and quality targets.
* Underwrite and process commercial risks within agreed authority levels.
* Gain commitment from potential customers to provide quotations and actively sell the company brand, highlighting benefits of insuring with the company and overcoming objections from customers.
* Complete all follow up paperwork for quotations and policy issue.
* Provide acceptable service levels on telephone call handling for corporate clients.
* Pass appropriate calls onto Sales Executives and third party provider in timely and appropriate manner.
* Complete all necessary management information in a timely and appropriate manner.
Skills, knowledge and behavior:
* A strong customer service background in telesales.
* Strong communication, negotiation and sales skills.
* Good numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
What will you get from this role:
* Thorough training over an initial 4 - 7 week period.
* Basic salary of £13.5 - £15K.
* Uncapped sales incentive scheme - OTE £20 K per annum within six months, with potential to earn even more.
* Guaranteed monthly commission of £150 per month during intial training period.
* 35 hour working week – flexi-time in operation.
* Working hours currently cover 8:00am - 6:00pm Monday-Friday - this may change over time but unlikely to be un-social hours in nature as sales are business to business.
* Pension scheme - contributory money purchase scheme.
* Annual bonus Scheme - typically 5% of annual basic salary.
* The company offers a wide range of training courses which reflects the training and development needs of their people across the company.
* Smart casual / dress down days on Friday.
