Northern Sales Manager
Northern England and Scotland, Field Based
C £35,000 + 10% OTE + Company Car + Laptop + Mobile + Expenses
Our client is looking to recruit a Sales Manager to cover the North of England and Scotland. Residence within these locations would be desirable. As Sales Manager you will develop, implement and maintain annual business plan for agreed customers which profitably achieves maximum volume growth in line with both company and team strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities/Dimensions of Job:
a) Responsible for total sales budget achievement within given territory through the development of existing business and new account business generation
b) For the introduction of new products on behalf of the company
c) Responsible for providing quotations in line with customer requests.
d) To ensure that all customer discount structures are controlled, evaluated and deliver optimum profit to the company
d) To gain the necessary skills and product knowledge in order to achieve all necessary budgets agreed for the year.
e) To work within defined monetary budget
f) To ensure all customers receive the appropriate level of visits to enable effective business relationships
g) To implement and manage appropriate trading terms / price changes
h) To ensure clear and concise communication with all key contacts both externally and internally
i) To ensure that all specified administration is completed and delivered to those concerned within given time scale
j) To build effective working relationship with relevant internal sales.
k) Conduct regular customers performance reviews.
l) Effectively handle customer complaints relevant to territory.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Attendance at exhibitions as requested
* Contribution to marketing campaigns through ideas, support and communication to customer
* Support and coverage for peer group
* Proactive management of individual work load
